No it's unrelated. The VISA doc number and expiry date is published on the day of Passport Request. I got the same details Nov 1 but was stamped only 4 weeks later.

I submitted my passport on November 18th IRCC received on Nov 20th. I can see today on my portal Visa Document Number and Visa Expiry date. Does it mean my passport will be dispatched pretty soon?

Hi did you find the counterfoil message ? Which is ur vfs? Did you send through chennai vfs?

In IRCC portal you will find the Visa number & expiry date soon after the application is approved in GC Key. But for stamping it is takes time, I read some where - 15 working days once passport is received at IRCC delhi
I am still waiting - my parents Passport was received on 22 Nov at IRCC Delhi, no update after that

The visa number and the expiry date shown on the IRCC tracker portal would be the one printed on the visa stamp right?

yes that is correct - at least we know this earlier, how much is the duration of the visa before it is actually stamped in the passport

My spouse and children passport reached IRCC Delhi on November 20th and it’s in process still

Two things -

1) The document number details and Expiry date gets updated in IRCC tracker account when they request to send passport to VFS

2) Counterfoil information in IRCC application account gets updated after stamping(same day or next day).

I submitted my passport for trv stamping on November 18th and received by IRCC New Delhi November 20th. It's still under process.
How long is it taking for trv visa stamping any idea guys?
