I got a message now in IRCC portal that visa has been finalized and approved but did not receive dispatch message from vfs, can expect it to be dispatched tomorrow?
Can i apply for my Canadian visa from my country of residence, in my case Netherlands or can i do it from India? Please note besides my passport all my other details, employment etc are from outside india. I need to attend a conference in October and hence my application
@UshaOP review of eligibility date is the date on which visa is actually stamped. But usually we get the dispatch message along with this update, hence was confused ,hopefully dispatch will be today.

you can apply from anywhere. Since you already have a visa from another country chances of acceptance are very high. I would recommend you start your application soon. It’s taking around 1.5 months to 2 months for the whole process.

Passport Request Letter received: June 21
Passport Reached VFS : June 24
Passport received at IRCC(Under Process): June 25
Waiting for passport. Anyone in the same timeline? I have a flight to the US on 9th July. I am really getting worried now. I used the premium services and they said it will be complete within a week but it seems unlikely.
I guess around 21:30 MST we start getting dispatch messages. I’m waiting for dispatch message as well, need to book ticket for my mother… Under process since June 20, got update on portal last night eligibility completed
my wife application is approved on 06/18.. still waiting for dispatch email.
