How long did it take after biometrics to get passport submission notification?

My parents completed biometrics on Mar 19 in Mumbai but haven’t received passport submission request. Both have US travel visa and have plans to travel on 16th May.

Yes it shows in progress. This was for a visitor visa. How long after biometrics did you receive passport submission notification and which city ?

Received by IRCC 16 Feb
Dispatched by IRCC 29 Feb(received email.at 2 pm, ready for collection)
I collected on 01 March 2024

There is a no relation for visa approval and city, as per the current trend people are receiving final decision within 1-3 week period, good luck.

Got my passport back today. This is my timeline:

Passport Submitted: April 1
Passport received at VFS Delhi: April 2
Passport received at IRCC Office: April 3
Passport Dispatched from IRCC to VFS Delhi: April 16
Passport Dispatched from VFS Delhi to my address: April 16
Passport Delivered to me through BlueDart: April 17

So roughly 13 days for visa stamping at IRCC Delhi
