Visitor Visa in March Timeline from India

Applied for my in-laws on March 8... Biometrics also done on March 15. today the status was "application/profile updated". As i clicked on the application, It changed into submitted again. Is it a glitch?

It could be because after biometric and medical get updated the profile status also gets updated.

I applied visitor visa for my wife and young kids through the new portal, here is the timeline:
Mar 15 - submitted
Mar 16 - Received request for Biometrics
Mar 22 - Biometrics given and displays status as submitted on portal.
No update after that, it has been almost 30 working days. It is so disappointing.
Does anyone know how much it takes to get a response to webform? How much longer should I wait?

Biometrics updated from old application
Got BVL on march 14 no update after that sent webform on April 14 2022 because it was 30 business days no response yet

I have also received passport request letter for my mother. How to send the passport. There is no clear instructions in vfs website. Can you please send link with instructions or steps

Is the refusal based on purpose of visit?
What did you show as home ties for your sister? Or was it your visitor visa to meet your sister that got refused?
Did applicant show own funds?

You can reapply if you think you can address all this. Or if you think this is a completely wrong denial, you can do a judicial review

Yeah refusal is based on purpose of visit.
She showed her own funds and my own funds and along with my home ties in india.

Ok you can reapply if you can justify the reason of refusal

Are you working in India? What home ties were shown and how did you justify the purpose of visit? Did you attach flight tickets?

Check all this and reapply or review

Hello, I applied visitor visa for my sister in 2019 which was refused with the reason that they think she will not leave canada. Now my we are expecting a baby and wants to throw a party for the new born. i want to invite my sister for this event. She runs her business (registered) back home and has good bank balance and property. she has filled income tax returns.
Do you think visiting a new born is a valid reason to get a visa? As I have seen in most of the cases they refuse the visa as they think the person would not return. Please advise. thanks
