Hello everyone,
I am a worker in Canada and I am planning to apply visitor visa for my spouse. My spouse is partially vaccinated and is due to take final dose next week.
I am unsure about the document PROOF OF TRAVEL EXEMPTION which needs to uploaded. Could it be proof of vaccination? If so should we wait until my spouse is fully vaccinated to apply for visitor visa?
Please help me if you have been through a similar process. Any valuable information regarding this would mean a lot to me. Thanks in advance

Proof of travel exemption
Evidence that you meet the following requirement if you’re an immediate family member of a temporary resident

  • You’re travelling for a non-discretionary purpose

Anyway you have to wait just one more week for her second dose, so I would recommend you to apply after she gets her vaccine certificate.
