Visitor Visa from USA

Same situation here. Applied on Sep 28, Biometrics given on Oct 8. Never heard anything back, not even started eligibility review. Wonder if any US-based applicants are seeing things moving.

My first app (GC KEY) submitted on 3rd Sep changed to Eligibility Review on 19th Oct. 2nd app (Portal) submitted on 10th November didn't change at all. So far no update on any of the two applications.

Thanks. Is it recommended that normal visitors re-submit their applications through the new portal? Also, the normal processing time listed is 37 days as of now. I'm pretty sure both of our applications have far exceeded that expectation... I don't even know Eligibility Review would take that long.

Gave Biometrics - Oct 14, 2021

no update since then...

I'm waiting for the extension of my WP in Canada, cannot leave due to the implied status. I hope my husband could get the visa to visit me during the holidays, but.... (sad).

BTW, my WP extension application has been three months, still no update. What IRCC is doing?

Same timeline for me as well. I guess IRCC stopped processing US applications. Not sure whats going on..

GCKey is the old/current portal. There is a new one called IRCC portal just for visitor visas.

Nothing yet! I applied twice and nothing on either applications. I had to travel on this Sunday. They ruined all the plan snd holidays. There should be some accountability of these guys. Absolutely disappointing. Guess they're not working on US applications. Even tho we are CAN+ category
