No I just received an update on my IRCC account that just said that my visa was approved and stamped. I received no email regarding it being handed over to Canada post.

hello everyone, I am planning to apply for my spouse visitor visa. have already applied for spouse pr visa.
1. I want to ask for visitor visa, my cic account says that i cannot apply on behalf of her. does she needs to make the account online and apply?
2. is it feasible to apply for visitor visa?
3. while applying do i have to let cic know that i have already applied for spouse pr and applying for visitor now?
4. If i used a representative to apply for sponsor visa, do i have to use the same rep or any rep again or can she apply directly?
5. what will be the best and strong to include in the invitation letter
any recommendations/help will be highly appreciated. thank you all.

Hi Pilotqueen, did you have to give your biometrics before they requested passport? Or was it just a biometric instruction letter? If it was a letter, what did they ask you to do?

I wanted to apply visitor visa for my parents that expires in August 2021. They are already in Canada on a visitor visa and I will be applying for their visitor record so that they can stay for more than 6 months because of Covid. The reason why I am planning to apply in Canada is just to avoid the slow processing in India. Now the question is if I can apply for parents visitor visa from inside Canada ? If yes, how early can I apply for the visitor visa as their visa is valid till August 2021. My plan is to apply in February

I applied for TRV from inside Canada (Edmonton, Alberta) on 25/12/2020. I have valid open work permit till July 2021. Just want to know if someone has recently applied for the same from Canada and how long does it actually took to get the final decision.
