I have applied for FSW in Oct-2010 from Buffalo.Currently my husband is in India.He has valid US visa and planning to apply for Canada visitor visa from India to visit his Uncle.
There are no restriction on doing so. The only problem is that the Visa Offices look for a person with solid intent to come back. As he already is on application (You have to put details on application form as well), it sometimes is difficult to get Temp Visa.
Although there are many instances where folks got it. All depends on many things. The Temp visa doesnt have any influence or effect on PR Application.

1. Sponsorship affidavit of husbands uncle would be useful.
2. he will have to show strong ties in terms of job and assets in home country .
3. It is sometimes difficult to get visitor visa during PR application but people have got it.
