I just got a refusal letter from CIC for my mother-in-law's extension application. It was actually an omission on my own part. I didn't read carefully that she must show all stamps on her passport - I only submitted the data page of her passport and her temporary visa which was obtained when she first came (though I expected that they have the record of when she entered Canada on their system).
Now that we have been advised to apply for restoration of status, in a bid to avoid paying $200 application fees for restoration visa, I was wondering if we can simply write them and supply the page showing the date she entered Canada. Any advise from the house? Has anyone experienced this?
