Hi,

My mother-in-law landed in August 2021 as a visitor. We submitted an extension request in February that hasn't been processed yet.

I'm looking at our options as it will be almost impossible for her to travel back home.

1- If the application is denied, can we submit another one?
2- If the application is approved can we submit a new request before the new expiry date?
3- If the application is not processed before August 2022, can she still stay in Canada or does she have to leave after a year?
4- Are we able to "reset" her stay if we take her to Mexico for 48 hours and come back?
5- I believe the flag pole is not possible in her case (she can't access the US anyway), can someone confirm?

Thanks in advance
