My mother is visiting me in Canada under a visitor visa, she didn't get a stamp on passport so we assume she can stay for up the 6 months.
We plan to make a trip to Mexico and come back before the 6 months of her visa.
When she comes back from Mexico, will this count as new entry and therefor she can stay for another 6 months?
Can we ask for an extension of her visitor visa after she comes back with me from Mexico?
Are there any chances when returning from Mexico she gets a stamp for when she will need to leave?
Reset or continued stay: Depends on the officer. You don’t tell them what to decide. But more likely than not, it will be a new 6 months.
For the stamp, you can request the officer to do so even when a new 6 months is granted.
