My mother is visiting me on a multiple re-entry 10 years visitor visa. She got 6 months to stay during her entry . She will be going back now within her 6 months stay. When can she be safe to travel back to Canada , do they have a cool off waiting time. I am on work permit here .
There is no set time given each entry is assessed afresh each time but maybe 4-6 months away would be reasonable to avoid an impression she is living in Canada.
Everyone here will have a different recommendation some shorter some longer and nobody here can predict but with a return ticket she should be fine. Don’t always assume she will get up to 6 months each visit though.
