Visitor Record for U.S. Spouse

Hello everyone,
What does the Visitor Record offers? My spouse is a U.S. Citizen and I would like her to come visit me more often, does it offer that?
We are working on sponsoring application and hopefully filing as soon as we get the police clearance report.

It is something a CBSA officer may give you at the border if they feel a visit should be less than six months. It offers no way to more often visits.

We do live in neighbouring cities between the US and Canada and I was hoping she would come and visit me more often without a hassle.

Well, a visitor record isn't the way to do it, because it's issued when a CBSA officer doesn't want to give the person the full access to Canada they normally would be entitled.

I get what you're saying, but there aren't really any ways to remove hassle when you're doing a spousal sponsorship. You're already in the best position possible - a US citizen who can cross by ground. Easier access than anyone else in the world. My fiancee is a Russian citizen who lives in China. Next to no access to Canada.
