Hello everyone, I am new at all of this and am planning on starting my spousal application soon to bring my future wife over from the U.S.
I was wondering about the inland ,outland application. Can she stay in Canada with me on an inland as long as she sends in a visitor extension request before the 6 month time limit?
Once we send in all the proper paperwork can she apply for medical in Canada while we wait for P.R. status for her?
Being from the U.S. does she need to see a U.S. doctor for the medical part?
Does she go to the Police Station in the U.S. for her fingerprints to be done and sent for a background check?
So many things to do before getting married, we have been together for over 5 years as well.
Any info is greatly appreciated ,Thanks All
Yes, assuming she is otherwise admissible to Canada, has a place to stay and the means to support herself. Having a return ticket when you first enter Canada is very helpful.

Yes. She will need a criminal background check for all countries she has lived in for 6 months or more. You can read about the U.S. process here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/security/police-cert/north-america/united-states.asp
I'm not sure inland is the best route for you. Outland is usually faster.

If she is a US citizen, it seems like outland sponsorship is the best option. She can still stay with you as a visitor in Canada (and get extensions if needed), but will be free to leave the country if she needs too without worry. Processing for outland also tends to be much faster. Outland seems to be the best bet for most visa-exempt citizens
It depends on which province you plan to live in, as the medical plan requirements vary greatly. If you are planning to live in BC, she is eligible to apply once her PR application has been received by CIC for processing (but the wait time will be 2 months plus the balance of the month that the application was received).
Fingerprints can be taken in the US or Canada by any company that offers the service. She would then mail the fingerprints to the FBI in West Virginia to receive her US PCC (takes ~ 6-8 weeks to receive). If she has lived anywhere other than the US (for 6 months or more, since the age of 18) she would need PCC from those countries as well.
