Applied for my mom on 28th August. Got approval message today 29th November.
Got visitor extension for her for 2 years.

Is 2 years the max that anyone with super visa can ask?

i don't think anyone will have an answer for this. however, as long as your application gets approved ,you will be able to meet your goal

It is perfectly fine to state that you want to stay to become common-law. Provided you can show sufficient proof of finances, you should have no issues.

if you have a supervisa, then yes max term of single stay is 2 years.

However, in my case, I didnt apply for supervisa.
I simply applied for visitor extension for 2 years, however I did add one year medical insurance with the application to support the request.

Well I see they updated this afternoon to processsing now after 9/17/17. Mine was delivered to them 9/14 so I should have anawer soooon.

you have to be checking your account regularly. they usually send an email 24hrs after your account has been updated with a decision

so its a paper application? try getting the details from your lawyer and link application online. otherwise you would have to wait to hear back from your lawyer.
