I have just (like 2 weeks ago) submitted my Outland Family class application. My partner is a Canadian and I am American. We are living in the US but she is moving back to Canada. I was going to drive up with her to help her move back, spend a few days there then we'd fly back to the US together a few days later.
The Canadian visa office hasn't given us any AOR yet and we haven't been placed in their system.
Do I need to notify the border agents that we have applied for PR? Or do we not need to notify them since we have not heard back yet and aren't in the system. I want to be honest obviously, but it seems ldidn't get an AOR yet....I need not tell them about my application.

Shouldnt be a problem. When the agent asks the purpose of your trip, just answer his question, which is that you are helping her move back to Canada then will return to the US in a few days. I assume you have ongoing ties back to the US, like somewhere to live and a job. So fine. No need to mention you sponsorship unless specifically asked
