Visit Visa for my MOM- status confusing

Hi,

My mom applied online for visit visa in the month of September, but when we check the status online it shows as below:

Application Status : Cancelled

Final Decesion: Not Statred

It been almost a month nothing change in status.

I emailed delhi immigartion did inquiry about case but no reply yet.


Can someone tell if anyone faced with similar situation and what does it mean?

can some please update on this as this morning when I checked it still shows the same.

I am really confused if I need to reapply.

Not heard from CIC also yet..

"Cancelled" means that, before a final decision was made, we determined that we did not need to process your application. This could be due to one of the following reasons:

an administrative error was made and your application needs to be re-created by us, or
we determined that you do not need the status/document for which you applied.
If you believe we made an error when your application was cancelled, please let us know by using the case-specific enquiry form.

Yeah that I saw when I clicked "help" on cic website... But this does not clarify anything...

Not sure if we need a fresh application or just wait..
