HI All,
Hope all is well with you all.
I am going to get engaged in few weeks and then I am going to get married end of this year. I am a permanent resident of Canada. I am aware that the spousal PR takes time bout 8 months to 1 year. For this reason, I am thinking to apply for visitors visa to canada for my fiancee so my wife does not need to be in India for 8 months to 1 year after marriage.Could you please provide suggestion. Below are my question.
1. Should she apply that she is just willing to visit canada on her own as a part of her passion travelling-will write a brief SOP-she has a job in India and travel history.
2. Should she apply that she is going to visit Canada and during her stay, she will stay with friends
3. Should I apply her visit visa that she is my fiancee. When I do this, I am thinking it might be huge scope for rejection since immigration officer might think we will get married here.
Could you please suggest which of the above would be ideal to apply for visitors visa. My main question is-Will the immigration cancel her visit visa when I apply for her PR? Would they say she is an eligible dependent and for that reasons we are cancelling her visit visa? Is there a chance for this? and i am aware i can skip this by getting her to canada after marriage on visit visa that she already has and then apply for PR, but it would make her an inland applicant-in this case PR will take forever.
Could you please provide suggestions on this.
Thank you very much!
