Hi, I have to attend a conference at Montreal on 18 April and I applied visa on 3rd April. Can I get visa on time.

1. As my crystal ball is cloudy, I can't guess which office you applied to. So check the processing times on their web site or http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/temp/visitors.asp
 
Hi,
I would like to know how long is the validity of temporary resident visa,i.e. what is the max period one can wait after getting the temporary resident visa. I am planning to get my parents for this summer.
