I am an international student here in canada and currently doing a co-op of 8 months and than one final semester of study remaining..... Recently I applied for my wife's TRV Visa and they rejected in 2 days. The reason they gave are::
1. Your Family Ties in Canada and in your country of residence
2. You have not provided sufficient documentation to support your / yours host income and asset.
Now I want to reapply .... can anyone please help me out what are the document I should add to get the VISA......
hey..dnt worry there must be some way to overcome this..
Do u have ur work permit there in canada? b coz thats important for u to show that u can afford her stay in canada..+ u should have show enough balance there in canada,,
one thing i knw is imp.. u should apply for dependent visa if ur course has been completed and u have ur valid work permit for full time .. tht will be more effective,,.. u should apply for dependent visa after ur studies completed,,.
Having the work permits is one thing, but have you showed ENOUGH income from the jobs you are doing? The host has to show that they have the finances to support the guest.
Ties in Canada and at home, they think your wife has a stronger reason to remain in Canada than to go home at end of visit. She has to PROVE her ties to home country. Full time job evidence? Property? Bank account? Children/family?
Good Luck.
