This wait for PR has affected my memory....

We are also waiting for a PPR after submitting a number of additional documents related to police checks, etc. We are travelling to Canada on 23 August so I am nervous we won't get it in time, though my partner (Aussie citizen) already has a valid eTA, so I'm thinking we will just have to enter under Dual Intent worst case scenario. Correct me if I'm wrong, but if we don't get the PPR before leaving Sydney, it seems like we will have the option of submitting the passport to Ottawa?
