Visa Issued - Confused with the letter from Canada Immigration..Need help!!

hi ..

I going to apply for one year diploma in toronto .. so i wanted to know that will i get a multiple entry visa or single entry visa??

also is this in our hands to apply for multiple oe single visa ...or its the authority of visa officer ?

if single entry visa... then in case of some emergencies can i fly back ... and without any effect on my studies ??

1. The tendency today is to issue a multiple entry visa in most cases. There is no longer an option to check off multiple entry on the TRV application. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/visa/processing/visa.asp
