i applied for 2 year program(hospitality management) under SPP...all of the requirements by the canadian counsulate were fullfilled but then also they rejected my visa...the reason was that they were not satisfied with my financial status and that they think that i cant support my living and studies in canada....
i have an educational loan of 7 lacs (more than their requirement of max.6.5 lacs),also i hav paid the tution fees for 1 year and much more financially stronger...i dont understand why did they refuse my application)..
my IELTS score: 7.5
they dispatched my passport on the same day of recieving....frustrated!!
if anyone has some idea,please let me know and help me
Even if your financial documents weren't strong enough, there's no way in this world that they would review the file and send it back the same day. My gut feeling is that there's some error done on your part or your agent in attaching all the financial documents in your visa file. OR is your loan from a bank which is on the list of CHC's list of prescribed banks? Again, I have a very strong feeling that either you or your agent forgot to enclose some important financial document or perhaps there was something wrong with how the information was worded in those documents. Check everything carefully and apply again for this session in my opinion. Good luck.
and also guys, does rejections 4 tourist visa in d past affect ur chances of gettin a student visa...my tourist visa for canada back in 2005 was rejected...

Guys a lot of you have been talking about ITR here. I have a doubt. I am working from past one and a half years, but I have not filed any ITR as my salary doesn't come under the tax bracket. So I have sent only the last 3 months salary slips under general category. My dad's an agriculturist and I have sent his income proof certificate. That's enough right ?
Sorry man, but once they feel like you are a potential immigrant, its hard to change their view on this thing! Try to show some property you/your parents own in your home country, try a valuation of your property document from a charted engineer! Also mention on your SOP some strong reasons that you'll come back to your home country!

Everybody's a potential immigrant. Get Real. All we wanna do is to settle in Canada. You Know it, I know it and Canadian High Commission certainly knows it.
