I'd be applying for study permit sometime around next week. I'm already late for applying for fall intake, so I'm in a dilemma whether I should delay applying to pay fees for the first semester before applying or not? Does it make a vital difference whether i'm showing apt funds or putting fees payment receipt?
I've got 8 bands in IELTS and have been accepted for Master of Applied Computer Science program at Concordia University. Do you know of any case who got their study permit under sds? How long did it take them to get the decision?

Does anyone in this forum have successfully been approved for the study permit? If yes, what kind of documents did you received from the visa application center (VAC)? Did you receive your study permit directly or just the Letter of Introduction which I think
needs to be shown at the Canada border upon your arrival? Please help.

My application has not been approved yet. But, what happens is they provide us a LOI (and visa stamp of you are from a country that need one). We show that LOI at the Canadian border (airport), answer few questions they ask and get study permit at that time.

Hi. Thanks for the reply. My application is already being reviewed and will get the result anytime now. I’m asking this question as the school where I’m going to study has deadline requirement for the study permit (13 August) and if I get approval I can’t travel to Canada before that time as I still have work till end of of August. That would be a big problem I think so!
Hey guys , i want to ask that ,
I passed my 12th in 2017 with 78% , but i scored less in maths ,
So i gave improvement exam this year and got 70 in maths , now my overall percentage is 84.8% .
I have mentioned in sop that i scored less earlier because i was preparing for competitive exams and could not focus on board exams , but this year i have improved considerably.
So my question is , will this be a problem?
My ielts score is 7.5/6.5 and going for bsc in Computer Science at university of calgary.
Applied yesterday online under sds.
I am worried , please help.
I think it depends on the other steps like additional documents, background check biometrics if all of these steps say they don’t need anything or you don’t have to do these things then they will proceed with the final review of your eligibility. Afterwhich, they will make the final decision. You can check your full application status from GCkey.
