Hi I am applying for stydent visa under Student Direct Stream. My wife and 2 children (minor) will be accompaning me.
I am filling out the visa application and there is alot of confusion on how to apply for my children who are exempt from study permit under SDS.
They ask the Question what will your family member be doing in canada and best option is "Study more then 6 months" which results in them asking for "Applying for study permit out side of canada IMM1294" under Application form for kids and "Accaptance Letter" in "Supporting Documents" Which they do not require to study.
I am a little confused on what options to choose and how to provide the reqired Supporting documents or what to provide in their sted.
Yes. I did. For my kids I actually got them letters from the regional school board in the province that we are going to, so I uploaded that. But that is not unnecessary. All you have to do is upload a LOE saying they don't have admission letters yet and that you intent to approach the relevant school board in the province where you live to have then assigned to the nearest public school to your residence/university.

I got a letter from the district school board which states the high school my son is attending (with address). This is what I attached to my son’s SP application. And as @wonderbly said, put $0 on the fee field.
