virtual landing - CoPR - PR card

Hi,
inland pnp application
i got my ppr on aug 09, 2020
Passport sent cpc-ottawa 11 aug 2020
Was put in queue for for virtual landing on aug 24 2020.
cpc Ottawa assigned Saskatoon as a secondary office as i am in Saskatchewan.

Still waiting and whenever i call cic they advise to wait
how much time is it going to take? It is painful!
Please suggest.

Hi - I am also in a similar situation and have been waiting too

May I ask you what did they put on your passport after you sent it to them? You would have a valid visa anyways since you are inland.

I received a PPR but was later told to not send the passport and that I would be virtually landed after which I have just been waiting.

my passport was returned without a copr or visa, and i sent a letter saying a visa officer will contact me finalize my file,
And thn i called them they told i was in a queue to be landed as a permanent resident.
Yes i have work permit.
How long you have been waiting for?

I got my PPR middle of October and since then nothing

I got passport request on 22 july and cpc ottawa received on 4th Aug and returned my passport on 17 sep without copr. After that nothing turned up.

Any updates brother?

We are in a similar situation:

Wife got PPR on Oct 31, 2020. She is on TRV at the moment.
Passport was sent to CPC-O as instructed by the PPR letter - Nov 3, 2020
Passport was returned with the letter saying local visa office will contact you - Nov 17, 2020.

I believe CPC - Etobicoke would be my local office since I am in Toronto. Are there any trends for this office in terms of how long (days/weeks) one usually has to wait for virtual landing?

Same here. Received passport back for my mother-in-law without COPR, been added to virtual landing queue on August 28th, secondary visa office - Vancouver, tried contacting IRCC via phone, webform and my MP, reply is same - wait

Post your question in the PNP section. This discussion is about family sponsorship. The process and processing time is very different.

You have received a mail for PPR, you should send the passports. It's a written document proof and call center personal said - you will be landed virtually. Yes once you send the passports as per the guidelines in the letter then you will be acknowledged and put in a que for virtual landing. 90 days are auto extended time period for submission of passport, so please submit your passport otherwise your application may got rejected.
