I called them a few times to check if they needed smth from me, because I had been receiving very confusing information when had sent questions via their webforms.
They called not because I had contacted them before. They called to finalize the process and check if I was still in Canada.
When I called them for the first time, they said that it could take up to 129 days to get PR (which is completion of virtual landing + confirmation of PR status) after the passport request.
Then they stopped saying any timeframes.
What city/province are you from?
I see the location also affects the waiting time
approx 1,5 month
but I know applicants from another province - whose timeline is just a week between the request of passport and confirmation of PR (inland)
That's why I asked you about your location
Maybe it depends on timeframes?
I applied for PR last year in October.
Probably they were trying to be on time and meet the unofficial requirements to complete applications within one year
thank you=)
they tried calling on Monday morning, but I missed a call. Then got an email with a few questions. And in the evening the following email was the confirmation of PR
They said in email that they had tried calling but no success.
Then I checked missed calls - and there was only one missed call.
But the number was hidden, so I couldn't call them back
I wonder how long it will take them to issue a PR card and send it to me
