Great! Thanks for your replies! Another question, have you found that your visa office has slowed down over the past couple of months? Some others are saying the summer has kind of effected processing times.
Yes they have not just only during the summer but also from the beginning of 2017 they have stopped something working on cases. Last year average processing time was around 5-6 months. By the way Visa office in Vienna is the slowest one on earth.

Oh no that's awful. I'm glad to hear though it's not just our office. We're an August 2016 spousal app from Ghana and we have still not heard anything from them, and it seems no news has come out of that office since a June and our processing time went from 7-8 months to 11+. It's so frustrating.

Ok just read some of the posts written previously... and yeah came to vent about the processing time for getting my AOR2. But apparently everything is happening excessively slow at this office? Sent a message to them a month ago and still have not gotten a reply either. Does anyone know what's happening in Vienna that everything has come to a slow crawl in wait times?

Only thing what I can guess would be that they work in batches. Maybe they start working on couple cases together so they can also update in batches.... don't know.
I head the same issue with VO not replying to me, and in one email i have written in the subject line [URGENT] application no. ------- then i got the reply within 3 days. Dot know if the [Urgent] part did the job but at least i got a reply.

The rumors you shared - where did you hear that (if you don't mind sharing)? Besides, event like shutting down the embassy wouldn't be a small thing - there must be an announcement...or something like that. And also, according to the new processing time there is 12 months mark (80%). I can't imagine that all the rest is going to be around 12 months and Vienna would be a special one and would go under 24....

Hello.
I'm sorry to say this but Vienna is one of the slowest offices.
Some of us in this thread waiting for more than 13 14 months.
I already passed my 13 month.
And I know some of the people here waiting almost as long as me or even longer.
I saw you only joined in March I'm guessing that's the time of the start of your application, hopefully you will have a fast processing.
But from experience it's going to be a waiting game.
Hi thnx for those kind words but I was just kidding since I didnt got nothing from Vienna. Last action that I got from them it was beffore two months when they requested from me Police and Court certificates, since then I didnt hear nothing from them even they didnt response on my last email that I sent before 19 days ago.
