I was there and we brought a witness also but they didn't speak to us, only to my wife. We had to submit the passport and the documents before the interview. They kept everything except the photos and the passport which they returned after the interview. They spoke to my wife for 20 minutes, then there was a break for 15 minutes after the break they called her again and spoke to her for another half an hour.

Has anyone had their visa and passport sent to them by registered mail, if so how long did it take to come back to you?

We received our docs back via registered mail from the Vienna office. it took about 10 days to arrive safely.
They even sent all the pictures back.

What is Gymnasium School what we have in Germany
in Canada or in English???????

And what do they want to have put the field of study if I went to elementary or secondary school!

I also did an apprenticeship so Can I say Apprenticeship or trade school???

Gyminasium School = High shool or grammar school. In the Netherlands we have the same name as in Germany what is regarding about Gyminasium..

Almost a month no word from Vienna when should the passport be returned?

My wife had an interview yesterday. They will let us know in 10 days. She was told that she is too nervous and they have to double check everything she said at the interview. She also had to sign a statement that she was telling the truth.

Any news from Interview? We are not too sure about ours now either.

Yes. We have received an email the next day requesting updated police clearances and updated schedule A background/declaration.

Hello, my husband from Bosnia received his visa on Jan 29, 2016. we sent in our application on August 7th
all together it took 5 and a half months
