We got the same request in april and my wife re-did her medical on april 30th we are also coming up on 14 months next week. Ours expired last november they are only valid for 1 year but some get an extension.

Could you let me know if you remember when you landed in canada
If you filled out a permanent resident form ahead of time and gave it to the officer after arrival
Or they do it once you come? Also if you have done in in advance what form did you fill out
I fould the form IM5444 but i could knly fill out the first page
Other 4 pages dont apply or im missunderstanding something
Any info will be very hepful

Seriously now Milan? Which part of the city should I look for in the beginning..I mean at the time where I would be alone renting a room for a couple months before wife's and baby arrival...I need to be in an area that I don't have to walk miles to get to a bus, and where I won't be mugged in the street and where I won't have to pay an arm and a leg just to rent a small room with a bath.
