Radovan,
don't waste money on a lawyer, you won't accomplish anything. You applied in Oct 2013, only 5 months ago; the processing time for Vienna is 14 months right now. If you look at the timelines of others on this tread you will see that many are waiting over 12 months or more already. You need to be patient. I understand that it's difficult to be separated from your wife, but you will have to accept the fact that this process takes time.
I agree, lawyer can't do anything for you. It will be waste of your money and time. I was thinking about this option as well before applying, but after finding this forum I realized lawyer can assist me only if they deny me for no reason or with some other issue, but for file that is in process they can do only one thing: "Maznuti ti lovu i poslati razglednicu sa Havaja"
Dear TOM,

Nothing here again today, but someone from the FSW Vienna got a PPR earlier today!

It feels like there is only one case officer working and s/he is going through each application one by one

Tom
what does FSW stand for?
I have a few questions if someone could help me.
1. ive noticed on peoples timelines there are document request. what documents do they request?
2. if I request my notes would that potentially delay the processing of my application? I ask because I have read the more you bother them the greater chances for delays..

1. From me they requested more proof of common-law status / proof of living together. Others were asked for new medical, new police certificate, if the sponsor lives abroad proof that he/she will return to Canada, etc.
2. ordering GCMS notes doesn't delay your process when you apply for digital files. Ordering paper files will delay your process because they will copy every single page of your application

It stands for Federal Skilled Worker Programme. It's one of the immigration ways to Canada. They provide the public with a list of occupations every year or two and if you have work experience in one of the occupational field and meet the other criteria they start your immigration process.
ok thanks guys
