So my consultant did get an email today from Vienna basically saying, we received your application feb 2013 and processing times are as following. GEEZ thanks guys .. Like I didn't know this already ?

I think this was a reply to my consultants email he sent a month ago, but if it wasn't a reply .. It was my second stage AOR. What a joke.

This is what I said earlier. They will start sending AOR's now to hush things up! I believe there will be more of AOR's in the next few days!

Processing time for Vienna changed to 12 months. Paris and London for example, which are supposed to be on strike, didn't change. I should have applied inland to get the OWP >:(

When I read your message I thought you were joking because just yesterday I checked the times and it was steady at 11 months. By the grace of GOD. What on earth are they doing and they are so backed out. This is Vienna. It serves the Former Yugoslav countries, and some others ( Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Netherlands, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia)

It's not like Manila that serves almost a 1 billion population in the far east and all these countries (Caroline Islands, Guam, Japan, Johnston Atoll, Korea (Republic of), Kosrae, Marianas, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Midway Island, Northern Mariana Island, Pacific Islands, Palau (Belau), Philippines, Ponape, Truk Island, Wake Island, Yap Island). Look at this forum you would see there are hundreds of new Filipino applicants every month. And Manila rightfully is 14 months and even with striking VO they are sending PPR's all over. Our Vienna of course has clients that are not members of this board we all understand that. But even if we look at it statistically the numbers should match.

When I applied if I remember correctly Vienna was 9 months or maybe 10. Even if they make it 14 months I would understand it as long as they were processing something...But they are so silent!

I agree Europe!
Manila being one of the VO's on strike and with heavy volume of work representing and serving thousands of Filipinos plus half of Asia they are sending PPR's and other things. Just today two members from 2013 have got their PPR's from Manila.
I am totally aggravated with Vienna. Honestly speaking if I had lived somewhere near them I would have gone to their office and picketed!
I don't mind to wait for a full year. Even more if they tell me! I just need some sort of confirmation that my files are up there!

We are their clients and we demand to be treated as such!

Tom

i agree with that i dont know why Vienna doenst respond to our emails to let us know that oufile is in process, and not to wait , we are customers we all have to bre treated same, it is really sad to see all this Vienna forum how we are feeling, i know they closed a lot of the embassy but still hire more people to work on the files

Thank you Vienna processing time 1year without given Any Pr since December good job

An update to my email query to Vienna of two days ago.

Just a moment ago I received this. At least this time they answered. Better than nothing! That would at least put my mind at ease.
So you may say that this is my AOR hehehe.

Hi Tom.

What did you write on your e-mail to Vienna? I e-mailed them in June and received the exact same e-mail you did but they never stated that they received my spouse's application. They just said that it will take 10months or more.

That is the exact same email I got Tom

Love getting second stage AOR's six months after the fact.

But you know what, things are moving. We should be positive about that. :)

hi rks

The email I used is the one they have posted on their site : re-vienn.immigration @ international.gc.ca
to be honest I never thought they will reply. But....they did and in only 2 days. I bet they have a guilty conscience this is why!

Here is the contents of the email I sent

Dear Sir/Madam

My name is xxxxxx xxxxxxxxxx

I am the sponsor of xxxxxx xxxxxxxxxx my comon-law spouse and we have filed our application in February 2013 for spousal Sponsorship.

In March of 2007 I was Approved as a Sponsor from CIC Mississauga and since then we had no information as to the whereabouts of our application files.

In May 2013 I made the RPRF payment and had sent the receipt to CIC Mississauga as well as to your Vienna office through the Case specific portal. I never received any reply either from CIC-M or your office except of an automatic reply warning me not to send another email unless 28 days have passed.

Of course I am not complaining that the time for our application processing is late as we are well within the 11 month processing times.

My grievance is why we have never had a confirmation that our files have made it to your office and they will be eventually processed.

For this reason could you kindly confirm that at least our application package is at your VO?
It will be greatly appreciated!

Have a nice day!

Sincerely

xxxxxx xxxxxxxxx

Tom
