Hope they will reply to your email adress, i think guys the Vienna is not in Strike i dont see anywhere thay saying that they are striking.

i checked yesterday because i am inviting my mother in law to come and visit here for a motn , and when we fill the aplications we didnt seer that Vienna is in Strike .

hello guys.....can anyone tell me from your expirience or whatever....i sent my documents..in vienna in march 2013...i'm applaying for permanent resident based on my boyfriend.....it is like sponsorship....they ''finish'' him and now douing me...because he listed me as boyfriend in famly section of his own perm. res. application. now that's all ok....and i know for 8 to 11 months in vienna for process. times..but what about when i sent all that to them..vienna office .shouldn't i recive something like----we recive your application and....etc......it'0s june now..almost july...and i didn't recive nothing..i sent medical and everything else..but nothing from vienna still....and what about this strike.....well thanks for answers.

Well i can just say you have to wait, if you email to Vienna they will never reply to your email , good luck and hope you will have some good news from them , my husband applications was through Vienna

She is a darling of a lady and I hold great respect for her. I followed her suffering from October last year. I guess Europe and many other good people who remained here even though they received their COPR's are hanging around mostly to help and encourage people. Some of us here will be like this eventually!

Just to name nice people: Europe, Sweden and sorry if I cannot remember more.

no i don't know anybody in Vienna thread fhad a refuse Vissa, i know most of them had the interview, and some interveiw was from 10 -30 minutes,
if they are calling you for interview guys dont be nervouse , make eye contact , and speak the truth ,.

Re Vienna office being on strike...ive heard of a couple of cases in the last couple of weeks of people getting workers visa's from Vienna. So someone must be working. Is that department seperate or how they work. I read a newspaper article that said 300 of the 1500 service workers are on strike. In any case i think its not fair to not update ecas and so many applicants without a AOR....nothing. I will give it one more month before i call.
I have a few more days before i have to leave my wife again and come back to canada alone its not easy.

Vienna is not in Strike they are working , but some Vissa officers are in Summer vacations like usually in this time of the year , and monday they are not going to work because is long weekend in Canada,

I learned much from this thread as well. It helps to know that it isn't all of the VO's that are on strike. I read that only those processing TFW and dealing with tourists are mainly effected... but that the govt then takes VO's from family class to help fill in those areas. Although it does slow the process down, at least it is still being worked on. That is good to know.

Europe hi. Summer is doing great here! It's Greece! and Greek summers tend to be really hot but luckily we are surrounded by beaches with cool and clear waters!
