Everyone who spent more than six months in Canada should provide fingerprints. I was year and two months. I sent fingerprints made in Canada with all documents but they want again.

I sent in finger prints too. Electronic ones. It's weird that they would require them again, in my opinion. Maybe they expire within a year? Or has it not been a year yet? Don't know what to tell ya! ???
Hello my husband is waiting for the passoport to be mail in his our house, because they are mailing in register mail , and i dont know how long will take them,

Sorry for intervening friends but I never heard fingerprints expiring. They are there for all your life. Its something that never changes.
Most likely they have misplaced the ones you had sent them

I can't understand too why they asked the fingerprints. I made once in Canada and they were checked by RCMP. The electronic fingerprints are checked for 3-5 days, while the ink fingerprint needs 120 days. I hope Vienna will do faster
after my interview VO told me they have to run RCMP since I was in Ca for 2 yrs, oddly they did not request fingerprints, as far as we read all RCMP are runned on fingerprints.
my husband's ecas was just updated with "medical results have been received" as well.
I know that our background checks have been completed, so now the last step should be issuing him the COPR finally.
here's to hoping that doesn't take another 6 weeks.
Because I contacted the MP in January after not hearing anything for months and he told us that our background checks have just been completed and that they will issue us a remedical, which we got after two days.
I'm pretty sure it's the same for you since they asked you to pay the landing fee and do the medical again, they wouldn't do that if checks were still pending.
I really really hope we are both almost done!
