Then there is the added element of randomness and luck. Some people here got their PRs incredibly quickly while others have been waiting for quite a while (including us!). Just pray that you will fall in the former category!
Cheers and good luck!
@ Zeljko: PM Me if you have any questions. I brought my wife recently from Serbia (she is Serbian but was born in Sarajevo) and it took us about 7 months... I think it shouldn't take you any longer than that - 4 to 6 months is the average processing time nowadays. However it all depends on the complexity of your case, how long have you guys been together, proof of relationship, AND LUCK! Pozdrav.
DO they (CIC) know that you are in Skopje now? Maybe they think you are still in Canada! Anyway I do not believe that the police in your country would give you hard time if you request them for a set of fingerprints if you tell them that you need it for Canadian official business!

They know that I'm in Skopje. I thought about that they maybe think that I'm in Canada. I can't find nothing about fingerprints on official website. I found but for citizenship not for PR.
