When I click on the "Decision Made" in my ecas, it states "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision." so it doesn't say if the decision is positive or negative. I think it could be negative as well, but in my case I assume it's positive because 1) the info from our MP was that everything's fine and they just have to finish the background checks 2) they didn't request an interview and 3) they didn't request additional proof of relationship or anything like that. I think they don't deny an application without giving the applicant the opportunity for an interview or to send in additional proof.

Hi Europe
I applied June 2012, but my medical was done December 2011.
I got married after my application, so i got a new file number.
I contacted Vienna about this new file number, because on ECAS it didn't mention "Medicals Received" anymore.
They then replied that my Medicals were still valid until 06/2013.
Today i got an (very vague) e-mail that included IMM 1017 to complete.
I e-mailed them to look for my medical in my old file number and send them a screenshot of their own e-mail.
I hope i don't have to spend the $180 again, but if i do, so be it.
Congrats, McDutch, this is the final step before COPR. Your medicals expired Dec 2012, probably there was a mistake earlier that they believed they are valid till June 2013 , because medical validity is only for 1 year.
My medical expired this monday i think to redo too, even MP told me not to do anything , just to leave like that , anybody knows how long will take once you redo the medical to finalize the process

Europe, noone knows how long the background check is taking, I believe they are working together with other authorities so the VO needs to wait for the result of these authorities, I guess they as well are waiting on the results of these checks.
