Yeah, they withdrew my old file and started a new one with a new case number (because i got married)
I hope it goes fast now, my deadline is coming up rather fast now.

Oh wow... We're still in process.. for more than 3 months now. We contacted our MP last week and they told us they're still doing background checks.. no idea why that's taking so long.. :/

It's a vague enough term to mean anything.

Ha, sounds about right. But it seems like they approved our relationship and everything else, so when the background checks are done, we should be finished..

I sent my Documents on November 29th, 2012. CIC sent an email that they have recieved the documents on December 7th, 2012. CIC Sent another email that Decision has been made on my Sposnorship Application on January 7th, 2012. My Exact dates from ecas:

Documents Recieved : December 3rd, 2012
Sponsorship Approved: January 3rd, 2013

Current Status:
1) Sposnsorship Application Approved
2) PR Application
We have recived the application.
We have recieved the Medical Results

Any idea of how long am I waiting for?

Good luck, nobody knows excatly how long you have to wait , some of them they got fast, and some of us are still waiting , after 11 ,or 12 months no news for us.

considering our medicals just expired and by the time they request new one and the whole process runs its course, my new target date is summer 2013!

I did my medical on 07.07.2012 and it's already expired. I hope and suppose that I won't make another medical, because Vienna can extend the medical up to fifteen months if something another is not missing.

My medical expired monday , but for you sposnor you did medical 07.07.2012 yours is still valid because is one year valid .
our interveiw was oct 18 and we are in process from that date , i emailed Vienna yesterday i know they are not going to reply in my emails , but i dont have any more patients i dont know what to do any more it is like 11 months they received my files for sponsor

I made a mistake. I did my medical on 7.01.2012 and it's expired

I don't think Vienna is doing anything at all, my MP said they have everything to process file as of Jan 3rd, but still no word from them...ecas still showing application received only
