Well i guess that there should be a reason for the delays and if nothing changes by the end of the next week there is no hope that anything will happen by the end of this year having in mind that holidays are coming.

Hi, just occurred to me that what if the total threshold of immigrants for 2017 is reached and they might postpone any further issue of VISAS for 2017 until next year. according to this http://immigrationwatchcanada.org/ the current number is 292,410 an continues to rise...

I agree with John013, if that is the case then other VO wouldn't issue PR's as well. But even this week other people got PPR.

It's about how it's possible that other visa offices are working, just vienna sleeps, something is wrong with them.
If this is to continue, we should react, or the mail we receive from them makes no sense about the phone that no answers.....

See that is a problem...if your case is within 12 months then there is nothing to complain - they will tell you just to wait. Unfortunately those whose cases are taken much longer than 12 months also cant get anything from complaining as they will be told - well your case is under old processing times and that was around 15-17 months for Vienna.

I thing they are slammed with application and they will be done soon with some of them and the rest will be proceed 2018

It’s definitely depressing..
Really starting to lose hope for January too.

My husband is super upset but I dont have enough money to go visit and then also pay for his ticket to come here. Still struggling after the wedding..

I don’t even know how to tell him that this could take a few more months.

Look at the July applicants yesterday a couple of them got their PPR.
