Okay.. so you know it's in Vienna. So it's being month and a half since they start working on it. Sounds not bad. I would give at least 2 month before ordering notes.... or even 3 to see some reasonable info....there. At the moment try not to panic there is no reason for that yet And of course it's up to you ordering the notes.
I know a lot of people have been waiting a lot longer then I have in this forum, but my patience is thin with CIC. My partners work visa applications got so messed up last year (3 separate times) that we would have had to get an immigration lawyer on our case to fight the issue. This was supposed to be the cheaper faster route for my partner finally being able to work in Canada. Also seeing so many people receiving their AOR2's from the june spreadsheet is making me itch to just do something, if anything.

I know how you feel... being pissed with some issues as well...I hope your process will go smooth. As I know Vienna doesn't send AOR2 ... so your AOR2 is basically the line in ecas with we started processing.....also I think you can email Vienna directly and ask if they received your application... usually they answer... at some point.
I read the Ottawa Citizen news articles, but to me they dont mean much for the rest of us. There we always be certain cases that drag out a long time, it doesnt mean that the majority of us will have the same experience with this VO.

What would be the best way to contact the Vienna office? I have received the PPR email but I have some important issues I need to solve before sending our passports. I have already contacted them via the web form without any reply yet. In the web page (of the Embassy) they say that the immigration office is not open to enquiries. Thanks in advance for your guidance.
