Hi guys ,,just want to ask if how long does it takes to process ARC ,,authorization to return in canada,,and after that what else the next step do you think theyll ask because we just submit the ARC in vienna..thanks

I am anticipating ARC request because my husband was given one year removal and exclusion due to overstay. This was due to CIC error but out of our control. I'd like to learn more about this and how it goes for you.
Was this due to deportation or removal with exclusion?

Thanks PM1983, that was very helpful indeed. I was just worried about the medical expiring as the processing time for Vienna is stated as 16 months.
Guess I confused PR visa with PR, I'm still very new to the terminology..

A small sign of life on my application yesterday. Up to then my ECAS said "We've received your application ..." and "We started processing ...", but not "Medical results have been received". I had e-mailed Vienna a couple of weeks ago, and they confirmed they received them, so I wasn't too concerned. But they hadn't updated ECAS yet.

So since yesterday it now also says "Medical results have been received", which means somebody must've touched my application and updated ECAS. \o/

Back to waiting now, but nice to know it's still alive.

Hi again Maartenvg good they updated your ECAS. Surprised they didn't do it before. Our timelines are almost the same, and my husband's always showed 'medicals received' as soon as his status changed to "in process". Quite weird.
This whole waiting process is so long. Sigh.

I forgot my passport when I did the medical and used my driver's license instead. As such the results probably weren't picked up automatically by the initial importing of the application. I don't think we're done yet, I'm afraid. I expect it'll take somewhere around 6-9 months total in Vienna, and it's only been there for 2.

They recieved it August 10
My AOR was received Sept 12
Received SA on Oct 9
And have AOR 2 Oct 9 (in process)

I was wondering if anyone has a similar timeline and how theirs is going

Is there anyone from the Netherlands here? If so, where did you have the letters from family/friends "notarized"? I see that you can have a signature legalized at city hall, is that sufficient?

Hi everyone!

Has anyone had any updates on their applications? For us the only thing that changed is that CIC finally updated our addresses correctly on the website, after numerous emails and 2 phone calls from the MP. Our MP told us CIC has everything they need. Fingers crossed for good news soon but I am starting to think 2016 is more realistic to get our approval.

I am trying to make an appointment for the medical check and they keep asking if I have an application number so I just wanted to double check; you guys recommend doing it upfront right? Does anyone have experience with it expiring and could it be renewed?
