actually they would contact you .. to pick up your passport once the visa is issued.. all he/she said was that they received it( the passport im assuming).. you sound like you think he/she is making it up lol
If you send passport by DHL, they'll be back it probably by the same service (if you paid for that). If you send it by VAC centre, they will contact you when they get it back from Vienna.
That say in their 4th step. We sent it through Vfsglobal as that was one of option in letter VO Vienna informed us. I applied in May last year and we did all papers together including medical as well I paid all fees.
I remember when I arrived in Canada I had to pay Landing Visa $975. When sponsoring spouse is there such fee as well?

there is a permanent residence fee of $475 .. We paid it with our application so if thats what you are reffering to then yes there is, unless ofcourse you did as we have and you have paid all the fees upfront. I do not think there is additional fees when landing ( as that is generally not the experience with anyone I know who has been through this process)
maybe you should order GCMS to see if they have passed you on eligibility. Maybe you have and they are just doing the security now I know this is hard and I haven't even have waited half as long and many others here but my husband is really frustrated and wants to contact the mayer. We can't think about anything else that we can do. I know what you're saying about other VOs. It's frustrating to see that most who have applied the same time as I did through other VOs have already gotten their PPRs and the ones who have applies before me are already there having their lives on track and all, yet it seams like Vienna is being ran by part-time temp employees who do nothing but to sit around and get payed.
Vienna received my additional documents on March 13th. I don't think they have looked at them yet. That's why I still want to wait with ordering GCMS notes. I might do it in mid April. No change on ecas either but this doesn't mean anything anyways

This is what i dont get they ask for PPR then notify you DM. And this part of the process takes 2-3 weeks im guessing....so whats the difference if you go directly to Vienna and get it the same day? Last night i heard from a guy that says there is shuttle service from Novi Sad and Belgrade that drives you thru the night directly to the vienna office and waits all day then drives back at 5pm and it costs 4000-5000 Dinars its called Feniks or Phoenix???
