@ocanadaguy
They conduct BC with everyone but it takes longer with military backgrounds.
Regarding your concerns about your wife's potential interview. It's smart not to rule that out. Keep in mind if she comes to Canada with your son and they invite her to an interview she'll have to travel to Vienna...you probably know that, I'm just saying...
Anyway I hope it will be fast for you guys. It was overwhelming reading your last post where you mentioning her dream kitchen, home theater and watching "Cars" with your son.
Thank you, and yes.. I realize that the interview is a possibility.. The CIC guy said that if an interview was needed.. it is possible that they could conduct it here in Canada.. and that only if Vienna insists they have it over there... then that's when she'd have to go back. We will see what happens. I have my rainy day fund if it happens.
Thanks , yes I lived in The States for a while, but I submitted FBI clearance, no interview, I believe our 4 kids were enough to prove that we have genuine marriage ;D ,
@tajc, thank you I was so exited I could not sleep last night
Do you think my process is gonna take longer time than yours' because of additional Quebec procedure or will that be happening along side with the application?
I`m buying ticket for the end of May, and for your process , hm, I`m not sure, who knows it might be in 5 months too, you are from visa exempt country + woman ( so no army record), and process in Quebec takes sometimes only 2 weeks

Quebec is the easiest and fastest part of process. i got selection certificate in 2 weeks after my spouse submited aplication.
however Canada part is one that is taking forever. /Dont worry about QC, it's easy. (start learning French as they will torture you in QC with French once you get there).
Oh that's great, I thought it takes much much longer.
Yea, French... tell me about it, I'm already scared. I will start learning in May when I come to Quebec.
