I think you can update address right on ECAS, probably better than calling/emailing them.
I too would be hesitant to mess with anything, but I think it's more risky not to do something in this case. Something small and stupid like this can cause 1-2 month delays with these people.
I have a question....i read once on here that during august the VO in Vienna doesnt do anything. Questioning if the get a collective holiday. Does anyone know or heard anything about this? What if they send a ppr in july and then have to wait till september to get you passport and visa. With no set backs im expecting my wife to get her ppr in july and i dont want to wait longer than we have to. Thanks
I guess u need not to worry about.. i have the same thing.. I inquired about it they said nothing to worry, as in their system they had full address!!!

no, embassy is always open other than for the official holidays. But a lot of people do take their holidays, so I am sure that they are not as well staffed during the summer period. It basically boils down to luck, i.e. whether the officer handling your case will be working or taking time off during summer. So no one here can tell you whether your case will experience delays. Maybe you'll get lucky and get your ppr even before then. They seem much faster this year. And honestly, either way there's nothing you can do about it, so don't worry about stuff like that. We thought that they will send ours in September or October and ended up waiting till March. Such is life.
My wife landed yesterday ;D Whole thing took about 30 min including walking over to the US building and then back into Canada.
Our whole process took exactly 5 months from App sent to Landing. Lucky for us!
Big thanks to everyone on this forum! It has made such a difference going through this with others, helping each other out, and rooting each other on when we progress.

Just gotta wait for the PR card, and sign up for the care card and new sin card.
