I talked to my PM, she is a conservative and she is willing to help and challenge the current citizenship processes in Vancouver.

I have sent am email to deputy general of citizenship department asking for his help for Vancouver applicant. Dont know if it helps.

I sent an email to CIC higher management and he did reply and said he will push to processes for Vancouver applicants. But so far i see no movement at all.

It is ridiculous. I am planing to stop by and ask them in person if they ever open the door for me lol

Got an email from WST-CitizenshipClient-Notification@cic.gc.ca and said they will reschedule my oath most likely mid of Sep.

Seems that they are afraid you being knocking the door after all.... congrats and it was nice trick(of knocking door) to get the work done

so refugee claims are more important then fellow citizens

It doesnt mean that officers are back to office in full strength. I heard that they get too many leaves accumulated hence many might have even put paid leaves for weeks/months.
I am also now scared of 2019/2018 backlogs but will see.
