We know that the cic Vancouver office will back to island every three monthes and we can make sure about this through last year timeline. Usually at end of Jan. Apr. July and Oct.
So if they back to victoria at the end of April we can get some news at the end of March. This why the cic call center told u that u will get something before the end of this month.
i phoned cic yesterday and was told i am on the waiting list to write the exam. ( file transferred to Van on Feb 26th 2014., Application submiited on Jan 1 2013). the agent also said my file went really well etc.....

Hi, sorry about to hear that. The end of May is your two years point. So maybe the agent's answer is a offical standard reply. But whatever, keep in touch and good luck. And I will post if something changer with my application.
I called cic today and based on my conversation with the agent, it is very likely that cic will not come to victoria in april. It is now likely to be on canada day.
Agent said, "cic will probably go to victoria twice this year".
So, in the future if you were asked if you are willing to go to other cities for oath, SAY YES.

Hi, thanks for your information. It is looks like cic Vancouver will not back to island until canada day depends on the call center reply. I have to say that is sucks. But we can not do everything except wait.
As you say there is only on thing make me regert that is I should say yes when the officer let me choose the oath city.
