VFS INDIA OPENING DATE OPINIONS?

When do you think VFS in India will open? EU countries started their VFS services last week.

Last year they resumed in November, do you think history will repeat itself here?

Also; when they open, will passport stamping open before biometrics and given more priority?

My best guess would be sometime between mid - end June or a little over mid July. I don't think they would be extending it long like they did last time since the situations are totally different. maybe like the last time they might start passport stamping first and after some days open up vacs for biometrics. But it can change, they might open both simultaneously. Next week they might restart medicals from an unofficial source I received but it can or cannot be truth. If they in-fact does start upfront medicals that is a good sign on vfs reopening soon. All the above are my guess and info's I acquired from unofficial sources, I hope you do treat like them that way. Everything mentioned above is subjected to change.

Look at this way:

- IRCC promises that complete applications lodged before May 15 will get a decision by August 6
- IRCC orders VACs to be closed
- IRCC wants to give PPRs to approved files
- IRCC cannot give PPRs because it remembers oh!! We ordered VACs to be closed
- IRCC sees that most of the country is going back to normal
- IRCC decides to open VACs (at least the 2-way courier) as that is the only way to get those approved PPRs to receive a stamp so people can travel in time for Fall session

All this should happen in July beginning or June end in my opinion...

Idk if you all never noticed, but the vfs biometrics appointment booking site is back as of I am writing this.No official confirmation from Canada high commission tho.

Last time I checked they never displayed the appointment form. They noticed something like vfs centers all over India are closed or something.

Two way courier form continues to display a notice that it is temporarily suspended.

well I know people who was able to submit appointment but no confirmation mails yet since they all sent it this morning. all they received is the auto-reply mail saying
