VFS closed for biometric collection

I have applied my student permit under Non-SDS on 3/May. Next day I received BIL letter and mentioned I have to do it within 90 days . But VAC centre in my country is closed until further notice. Since then I do not see any progress in my application. So my question is will IRCC not proceed my application until i give biometric or will they continue to proceed medical request, background check, etc later? Thanks.

Hi, I applied under SDS category on 6th May. I can also not get biometric done due to vac closure. However, I heard that they will process medical and maybe start reviewing the application. But the final decision will not be provided without biometric. I suppose same is the case with non sds.

Your application will be processed but you will not receive a decision nor PPR until you provide your biometrics -- this goes for both SDS and non SDS.
