This is just an inquiry question for people who applied for their VoS. I lost my landing paper and COPR unfortunately and applied for a VoS ion July 28th 2014, CIC call center confirmed it was received on July 31st 2014. With the 6 month timeline I should get it by January 31st 2015. My question is did any receive it earlier like a week or so, or did it come by email if email was provided on the day the 6 month timeline ends? So in my case would I expect the email on 31st Jan or could it arrive earlier?
This is just an update to my VoS application I finally got it today via email after chasing up with CIC call center for two days straight. It seems this does take the entire 6 months.
I sent the VoS papers out on : 28th July 2014
Received by CIC and processing started on : 31st July 2014
Received document via email : 5th Feb 2015.
Oddly my friend who applied on May 14th got his on October 28th which is earlier than the 6 month time limit. Anyways just an information of my experience if anyone had questions on exactly when to expect it seems the full 6 months from day they receive it, if it goes longer do call the CIC call center.
