Vancouver office is sucks. i have been waiting for any update since March 2024 ( knowing that it may not long time as per some of you guys have been waiting for such a long time). its now just Vancouver office put some unseen pause on processing.

I feel like the Vancouver office is turning into the Sydney office. They told the Montreal call center to tell my MP don't come bothering them for 6 months, but by then my file will be 24 months with IRCC for processing. It's just ridiculous that there's no transparency or accountability with this group.
I know a bunch of people who applied in March 2024 getting their oath invitations last week. Vancouver office. It might be slower than Toronto, but many people have done the whole process within 4 months with the Vancouver office.
Just talked to IRCC, and the answer was the Vancouver office knows this file is over the general processing time and all I can do is wait. I am going to to find some other ways to push this.

I will pull all the notes in our files- there needs to be better transparency. If it is “security” a my husband has been clearanced for work, received a gun license for hunting, and has been given multiple PR cards with residency screening …what more do they need?

should be something wrong with Vancouver office, because this is not normal TBH. I am seeing people even after LPP still waiting for a month or so to scheduled for oath ceremony.
