Hi everyone
I applied inland spousal sponsorship in Feb.2012 and still waiting for AIP approved....
Vancouver applicants please join here to share their processing and timelines..My file was transferred to local cic office Vancouver in Oct.2012
Hopefully I'll hear soon from Immigration..
Thanks And Good luck you all.
I apply my application in early March 2012 and I got AIP on Oct 2nd, and currently waiting for my second stage approval. I think u should join thread Inland Application 2012, we have a lot of fun there
Hi Iav, I am from Ontario and the file was transferred back in October. The wait time here is 4-6 months so I anticipate hearing something in the New Year. Did you call to find out what the wait times are in Vancouver?
The number is 1-888-242-2100. In order to get an operator you must enter your spouses or your identification number into the automated system, otherwise it won't allow you to do anything.
You will have a better idea if you know what the waiting time is. If your file was transferred in October you will likely not hear anything until the New Year. I did speak to somebody that has just been informed that their interview is December 17. That individual had a file transfer back in August and had an expected wait time of 6-8 months, so that is encouraging.
Hi we are doing Inland spousal sponsorship 2013. We just received AOR on March 7, and on the 8th rec'd another letter advising our file was being transferred to Vancouver office. (we live in Ontario). Spouse is out of status (for 2+ years) ... is this likely why the file is not being processed in Vegreville? When I called CiC they said it was the Backlog Reduction Office. But I am reading posts about other out of status applications being sent there as well. Wondering what to expect now ..
